Aunty,  one of my hens has always had a runny bum.   Apart from her recent bout of lethargy (see previous finger-up-bum thread   ) she's OK in herself, not showing any signs of lethargy, illness, feather ruffling, is still bright eyed and interested in everything going on around her.

The other two are fine, no claggy poo or anything so I don't think it's a virus, otherwise they'd all have it and I've wormed them with flubenvet last week.

her poos are just dark, not yellow / white / clear etc but the clag to her feathers.  Could it just be that she's not a very good aim??  :?

It could be that her bum is very fluffy and she cant get her feathers out of the way enough

Or it may be that she has an underlying gut problem that she may have had from a chick.  You may never know. If she's otherwise well then I'd not worry.

Poo picture would be good Suzi

Try a garlic clove in the drinking water it helps with the gut and you may find it clears up the dark poo it works for one of my hens. Not quite sure how to say this but she has "perfect poo's now!"

I add (horsey) garlic powder to their pellets.
