egg laying shortage!!

ive got 16 ross lohmann hens .i got the first 6 about febuary and the other 10 about april .brought both lots at point of lay !! but still only gettin 9 /10 eggs a day !! surly i shud be getting more now !!

any ideas???

Got one of our Goldlines at POL last August, and she didn't start to lay until March, but she has built up to 1 nearly every day now! They'll start when they are ready!

Is it that some are not in lay yet or are they laying every other day?

well i was getting 14 / 15 eggs a day thn they just went down to 10

How much feed are you giving them and what is it ?

they have a 1.5 kg feeder half mixed grain and half layers pellets wif big hand full of oyster shell and another hand full of grit. small holder layers pellets
