I have grown many sorts of radish but the best looking and nicest taste was the French breakfast one.  They grow fairly unblemished compared to my others and the root is at the bottom alone rather than bottom and side so easy to snip of compost.  Seemed to grow quick as well.

Try 'Flamboyant Sabina' if you like a radish that bites back!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
