Help! Weed disaster in the making...
« on: June 18, 2008, 08:29 »
Help! One part of my plot had some big weeds growing on it, and they went to seed before I could cut them down. Now there are thousands of ominous-looking grass seeds lying all over the place. Would digging over the affected area and then covering with weed membrane help to stop them from germinating? Any other suggestions for how I avoid creating a grass farm... ?

Run the hoe through them.

Quicker than digging & cheaper than a membrane!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I second DD.  Keep it hoed.  Cheaper and less effort.
