They also have some other breeds, they had some marans, but only cockerels when I went. Good luck roughlee.

You won't be able to control yourself once you get there and see them all.

Gosh Stella!

My Buff Sussex and Light Sussex were about £23 for the two, they were about 12 weeks old then and the buff has just started laying - although her eggs are tiny at the moment.

My bantam cost £13 at approx 12 weeks.

Most of the prices I've seen are £5 for one week olds and then approx £1 extra for each week older up to about £25 for 20 week.

Glad hear this thread is still going strong and because of demand I fear prices will be hiked up. Also nice to hear about the good vibes from Southmead, will be going there in a couple of weeks time when we get back from holiday to see what they have left.  :D  :D

I have been to http://www.gardenpoultry.cwc.net/ and it was great.  Liked it allot.  Chicken friendly and professional how I imaged it should be.  I did not get POL but went for the 16 weekers just arrived there with in the last few days.

They are an Amber Rocket, Sussex Comet and a Copper Black.  So young they are scared to come out the coup!! Arrrrrrrrr.

The other lots are camping under the lorry!!

But they are keeping an eye on things.
