pot grown peppers and courgettes

I planted my ickle plants in containers appx 11" x 12" yesterday with tomato compost. Will this be big enough?

They will certainly get enough water as my son is a bit friskly with the watering can, but will they produce much in these size pots?

hmmm not so sure about the courgettes. They can become massive by the end of the summer.

courgettes do fine in pots but a 12" pot is good. Try and water the compost rather than the leaves or it just runs off and does no good

Peppers like soil actually so I've potted mine up in some J Innes No.2, grit and growbag compost, but you could use some lotty soil mixed in, preferably your better stuff

Hello.

I have Courgettes growing in my garden and on my plot.

The ones in my garden are flowering and are very very big.

If it was mean, I would move them to a bigger pot or land.

The root/stem is not big, but the leaves and flowers are ridiculous on mine.

Both do well in pots/containers, you will need a lot of feeding and watering.
