How do you tell it's ready
Mine doesnt appear to have any bulbs onthe surface, are they under ground ? or just not grown yet   ?

They should be under ground, unlike onions.

Ready to lift when the foliage turns yellow.

Wow great results I've got some in tubs planted in October but leaves are still green and strong must have had some good weather on the East coast? If mine are half as good as yours I will be happy.

Won't be harvesting Garlic till leaves die down , usually in July/ August depending on the weather.

Have the bulbs split into cloves or are they one large bulb.

Wondering why you have harvested them so early ? They look good but not sure if they will store well , as they have nt ripened in the ground.

We used to have an expert Garlic Grower on this site WG , but he does nt seem to be around anymore, anyone know why ?
