Luverly.................. yummy...................scrummy.  And more to come.  Better than last years crop.  I have 16 plants in 4 troughs. Two troughs are in their 2nd year and 2 troughs are the babies/runners of those 2nd yearers and in their first year..........if you get my drift.

Last year they were 6 plants crammed into a B&Q bucket and two in pots.  This year I replanted into troughs, which are probably 3 or 4ft long, with chicken manure.  I don't bother picking flowers off first yearers or disembodying (spelling) the runners.

Na Gobs I can run faster than them there runners!!

Actually everything else flowers included have been a month slower this year but the strawberries much quicker including the first yearers.  But then last year we did have a heat wave in April or my didn't we.  And last year was my first so mybe this year is the norm.

Thanks love my plot, I appreciate that, I do like taking photos.

OH told me to put some strawbs below and not two but three always have an odd number.  He didn't explain further but I will ask him.

There are three signs of old age. The first is your loss of memory, the other two I forget.

I'd go for the autumn as per normal and the books of it, but thing is, my little girl bought 3 plants last year in the GC  -unnamed - for her garden and they were and are stunners. Both performance and flavour. 8)

They were well developed, strong, large plants, mind.

In June this was.
