Carrots - too late to plant ?

As it says in the title ! I don't want to grow them too large, just bigger than baby size.

Some of my packets and books say July/August for succession, and I've still got more to sow, so get them in girl!!!!

I read June is best to sow them as they miss the carrot fly .. something to do with whatever stage of their life cycle's going on in June ... Sorry,that's not very clear is it ... but I KNOW i DID read something along those lines

So no, not too late to sow some! Besides, depending on variety, some packets say sow till end july/aug, as GA pointed ot.
