poor Bullhead, decided to practice on her as she's very friendly, she looks rather like a badly clipped poodle, there's clumps of wool everywhere, my arm's almost dropping off, i  take my hat off to those australians that can do 20 in 3 minutes and get it all off in one go, will try to get daddy to post a pic, bet she feels loads better tho, thinking about changing her name to poodle puff...........

WOW! Am really impressed. Need to see a pic though :D
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

We sheared our alpacas last weekend. It was our first time too...the first one MOH did now has a very funny haircut and lots of dangly bits but he didn't enjoy the shearing so we've left him as he is! The others look very funny and one looks like ET with her fluffy top knot! They look like completely different animals, so tiny and fragile, but at least they've lost their enormous woolly coats. Now I must learn to spin as the fleeces are so gorgeous! I have a wheel but can't find anyone here who can spin.

Will try to get piccies when they move out into the sun. They're hiding in the shade at the moment...probably too embarrassed to have their photos taken!

It's bad enough that we are laughing at their funny haircuts but...the Henhouse Forum too??!!
