What veggies to choose for my new plot?

Before....

After....

So my first Saturday in the allotment and I am exhausted! I have used muscles which haven't been used since secondary school. Feel really encouraged today and hope that tomorrow I will be able to get some plants in to the ground after I have given it some TLC.

Any advice on what veggies I should get in?

if it's like that after just one saturday, imagine what it will be like after 52 saturdays

There's still loads of time for most veggies, chippie......runner beans, beetroot, carrots, lettuces, radishes, cabbages, courgettes
& other squashes, french beans, peas, turnips, tomatoes & others. Sprouts if you can buy plants.
Could even plant some tatties in a couple of months for your own new potatoes on Christmas Day
