Well I don't work full time anymore, but with looking after the chooks, looking after Briand the dog and cat and trying to look fter teh house, as well as my little parttime job, I am always soo behind.  Not like last year, I was going to sort the polytunnel out today, but its gone from being too cold and wet to too hot!!!!

So I've been weeding, and I'm going to put some Alderman peas in where the french beans died because I watered them in and the sun came out and shrivelled them up!!!!  But I've still got about 15 doing okay, plus all my runner beans and Brian doesn't like french beans anyway!!!

This was mine a year ago when I got it. The nettles and brambles were about 7 feet high.

The other thing though, is that other plot holders won't be happy if other people's weeds set seed and give them even more weeds to deal with.

Just in the process of taking over a partly delapidated plot. Oh those weed will know my wrath for strangling the rasberries and choking the gooseberries!!

Weeds also harbour diseases which a lot of them will be resistant to, not so your crops.
