Imagine the logistics might be a little difficult if the size difference is too great. Without being too crude, would he be able to reach?
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Yeah.. The female duck sometimes lays down I guess.   Anyways. I have proof. I took 3 more eggs out of the Pekin duck's nest [good reason, I dont want them ALL to be untamed, plus I dont want the population to to be big] And they hatched... and 1 had mallard coloring but it was alot bigger       He's really cool looking, and definitaly a keeper!! lol The other 2 are normal, yellow pekin ducks .

I expect everyone will be wanting pictures of that
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

There's definitely a bit of duck theme going on at the moment, isn't there?  At this rate we'll need a new forum - The Duck Pond, maybe  8)
Nobody said this was going to be easy ... but some days are better than others!

These are my older Pekin Ducks that hatched May 23 and 24th. They were playing by the hose

Looks like a normal Pekin egg.. right???

Well.. It isn't!! haha. Here is the cross.

And here are my chicks that hatched about a week, week 1/2 ago.
