[Kate and her Ducks]

My drake has lost his curly tail feathers. Came home today and noticed that he has none of his usual curly sex feathers. Doesn't seem to be moulting but suppose he could be starting. Is he just trying to get in contact with his feminine side Will they grow back? he's white so his feathers wouldn't really change as he changes in and out of his nuptial plummage - is this just the outward sign of this
