Sounds like challenge!  I shall play reggae to one half, and The Cure to the other half.

Like Tali, I'm a Pagan so the idea of planting by the moon phases is enthraling. I'm surely going to try it out over the next few months..

Do you think the occupants of the local block of flats would mind it if I actually did it at night, naked????

The resident s of Walton are a bit straight from what I am led to believe -it's Cliff Richard's stomping ground!!
How about we have a top 10 of plant growing music, even a new forum  perhaps? What about kicking if off pop pickers with "The Green Green Grass of Home" (Tom Jones) Not Arf!...

Didn't you know ole Cliff was a closet naturist??

We're all friendly down the road from you Mixi... you never know, I might start a new trend...

as for the music...

For when it's  not going so well:
"Tracks of My tears" - Smokey Robinson

Once the veggies have died off
"Until You Come Back To Me" - Aretha Franklin

When you just can't stop 'em growing:
"On And On" - Gladys Knight & The Pips

When you sneak off to the 'lottie when the wife wants stuff done:
"Mama Told Me Not to Come" -  Three Dog Night

For those who just dont' have the green fingered touch
"Death On Two Legs" - Queen

maybe that woudl get us started.??

TD posh? you must be joking! I nearly choaked on my tea when I read what you wrote LOL... All us lottie keepers have 'proper dirt' under our fingernails from my neck of the woods.
The Chariman of our allotment association has on occasion been mistaken for a tramp  as have I for that matter  :?  Plus the Good Life was set in Surbiton which is only 10min walk away - I rest my case.

How about "We are the Champions" (Queen) for the biggest carrot grown this year? or something by Savage Garden for the worst weed infestation found on a plot.

when I was a youngster (a few decades ago now) we used to take our woofa for walkies on Ditton Common...and our favourite treat was a ride on the 'little railway' - is it still going?
