I had a feel around the other day but mine (epicure) need another week or two I think. They've only just started flowering. I'm on holiday for a fortnight so when I get back I'm looking forward to starting the harvest.

We emptied a couple of buckets last week end. They were very nice but there were some tiny ones so we are leaving the other buckets another couple of weeks.  :D  :D

yes i kept the containers in the sheds and greenhouses and with help and advice from john moved them when i thought it was safe from frost, and fed them has john suggested and the results speak for themselves          (   just one note off interest i did an experiment with half the containers only having 1 seed potato in and the other half with 2 the results were amazing the ones with 2 in grew the bigger spuds and a lot more of them even taking into account that there were more seed potatoes in the bucket the amount of spuds in the 2s exceeded the 1s by about triple the amount and better quality  )  over to you john explain that one please same amount of feed water and daylight nothing was different :o  :?

I dug up some rocket Earlie's on Wednesday that had been planted on the 9th March.

There were one or two one the size if a Chicken egg but most were the size a strawberry.
So I intend to leave then alone for another couple of weeks.
99% Organic and 1% Slug Pellets.

Allotment holder since 27th May 2007.
