Is it OK for these to drop the first flower bud, or I should be worried about something?

no they drop the flower and the fruit comes from there .make sure they do not dry out or get over watered ,, every other day is best pick at 2 inches and make sure you dont leave any ,,, to cook steam slowly or roll in egg and then breadcrumbs with seasong and deep fry ..............or whole in stews casseroles believe me i have eaten loadsssssssss :wink:

Not the flower, the bud, Munty. Most of them done it so far. Some look more sporty than others, but most seem doing it and they look ok otherwise.

Some have a bigger new flower bud on. The first  ones yellow somewhat and drop, these appeared very early, must say, like 2-3  true leaf stage.
