I'll be keeping an eye on your blog for updates  :D

Im going to add more pics to blog soon :-)
I must have seen it with rose tinted specs last night when I first went down because I said to Chris (OH) that I thought it wasnt that bad!
Its full of docks, bind weed and mares tail, you cant see in the pics but Id done 3 hours of weeding before anyone else came up!
Theres also another shed to come down, which some naughty person has hidden a lot of asbestos under, so I need to contact the council about that. and all 4 of the fences need rebuilding fast!
but Im chuffed with the progress all in one day
and the soil is great under all the weeds, because it hasnt been worked for at least 5 years - the previous owner just used it for chickens

 :D  :D

Oh peapod, yours is going to be great! I got mine tonight too and can honestly say I have never seen so many weeds in my life - some were taller than me!  Can't wait to see how yours progresses.

pity doc isn't edible, otherwise you'd have a banquet on your hands there!

Good luck with clearing it - take it steady and write down a plan - it really helps when you're not sure what to put where.

You'll probably get loads of the old guys down there 'advising' you to put potatoes in it and nothing else...  that's what they all say to newbies on the allotments

good luck with it all  :D

Lots of pallet wood on those fences, peapod. You could make several compost bins and a decent shed with them if they're coming down.
and that's no mallet - that's a meat tenderizer
