Pretty

I love Wyandottes, we have a rare breeds farm just a few minutes walk away where they have lots of the different colours.  I had one from there as one of my first chickens but she died within a week or so   ; they do have such beautiful markings  :)
Nobody said this was going to be easy ... but some days are better than others!

Hi Daisycow

You have some beautiful birds there.
What is the chuck in the second photo bottom right?

Thank you for your comments. The Wyandotte has strange markings, is such a character and a proper little garden destroyer!!
The chook bottom right is supposedly a pekin, but I suspect she's not a proper one. She does have feathered feet, but you cannot see very well as they were wet and muddy!

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!!

I am new to the poultry keeping hence my question,

I have quite a number of Light Sussex and they look the same as your one in the photo,

now you mention feathered feet, one of my Light Sussex has a line of feathers going down her legs and on to her feet is this a Characteristic of the pekins?
