Yipee, 1st harvest

Wighty, I don't usually buy fruit and veg in supermarkets, it's cheaper and much nicer from the farm shops.

I ate my first, and second, home-grown salads this week - spinach, rocket and mixed lettuce...YUM! It was so tasty and I could have eaten 2 or 3 times the amount!

Now I just hope the rest of my veggies grow (tomatoes, sweet peppers, peas, mangetout, carrots, onions and runner beans) grow!    Well, the onions are coming along nicely and the runners are going slowly but steadily, only have 2 mangetout seedlings tho and 1 pea, no sign of any carrots yet... Fingers crossed!!!
