Nice, I went to buy seed potatoes in Wilco's and they didn't have any so bought - seeds, sweet pea, sprouts, beetroot, peas, carrots and a bag of onion sets, oh and some baby propagators that will fit on my window ledge.

I just hope I get the allotment soon.

The one with no waiting list is one that has been renovated (if that is the word) they got the tenants to move off (only 7) and removed rubbish, re-fenced etc.  Anyway they have now offered the plots back to the original tenants but they haven't responded as yet, Jeanette in the allotments office is giving them another week then I am next in line.  All of the other sites near me have waiting lists and the only way a vacancy comes up is if someone is too ill or dies.
Not to worry, I have managed to get a green house from freecycle so I am in a good mood.
Still no seed potatoes in wilcos so bought more seeds today, tomatoes (2 types), broccoli and cauli.
Sowed sweet pea last night in my propagators.

Woolworths are doing 200 Red Baron onion sets for £2.99 at the moment. And £1.99 gooseberry and other bushes.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

... at the weekend and find I am lacking in runner beans, have absolutely no french beans and far too many beetroot ...  :?

I also need to buy indoor cues, cos I've got a greenhouse this summer
