Cheating or genius?
« on: May 28, 2008, 09:39 »
OH always has to have a mechanical solution so he has made a 'rake' to attach to his mini-digger to 'dig' through all the weeds on our beds. It is fantastic and rakes all the roots up so that they can be picked off the top and it also breaks the soil up.
I feel we may be cheating slightly but it is so good and replaces a weeks digging with just a few hours.

No, it's cheating!

Ouch, me back!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Oh no
I was just off to the patent office as well.
I have to say that it doesn't altogether get rid of back pain because we still have to be bending down to get all the weeds up. It is a lot quicker though.   I just say 'I could do with that bed a bit bigger and an hour later the bed is bigger, weeded and the courgettes planted.

That's my tactic as well.

Never works.
