About 16 weeks if Bernard Matthews looks after you

I have replyed elsewhere but it depends on the breed from what i've read. Some are around 5-7 and then others are as you can read above a lot longer... or shorter!

I got an email from a lady who was worried about her Bantams, and they are 13!!!!!

But you can buy a nice young bird and a week later they can drop dead on you!!!!!!!    So its not an easy question to answer, but like Porffor says, about 5-7.  Egg laying hybrids are not bred for a long life, so you may only find them living for 4-5 years.
