Redcurrant question!
« on: May 25, 2008, 15:54 »
I have just bought three redcurrant bushes from Wilkos! for a £1 each!! I am not ready to plant up in 'situ' so was thinking of planting in containers until ready to plant. Should i cut back all the growth which looks a little weak and spindly?

You can summer prune them by shortening new growth a few inches, depends what their size and what shape you want them or they are already.

They won't get hurt from taking a bit more than needed.
