What kind of forum doesn't take new members ;)

Wouldn't be very good if no questions were asked, you wouldn't have much to talk about then

I am new to this forum ( about 2 months old) and having never been on any type of forum ever- I had no idea how it all worked. It was so nice to ask questions about my new chickens and not worry that people would Yawn at me and palm me off with some impersonal FAQ type response. I got answers tailored to my questions. So although I am sure to have posted one of those irritating 'heard it all before' questions-and am sure to ask more. Even when I become an 'old' member. I won't be irritated by the same old questions and hope I can be of help to someone new-just as I have recieved support on here.

I spend hours every day trying to think of questions that have been asked a thousand times before.

Sometimes I can't manage it.

Things I wish I'd known no. 1:  Some of the Beswick figurines are worth loads of dosh these days, specially some of the Beatrix Potter ones.  And when I was a kid my mum and dad used to sell them in the pottery they ran and I was allowed to pick out one or two to keep.  Guess who didn't keep them when she got older  :?:  :!:  :?:
Nobody said this was going to be easy ... but some days are better than others!
