nets for peas

i noticed D.D  growing peas with no nets , does anybody else grow their peas without netting?

If you mean nets to stop the birds, rather than for the peas to grow up - the nets were on when the seed were starting to appear. They will go back on later when the pods start to fill to stop the pigeons.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

DD - I netted my peas last year because of Pigeons but I removed them when the flowers appeared as I assumed the insects needed to polinate.  Do you leave your netting on all the time?
