I've noticed holes in the middle of leaves of my chinese cabbages, one or two lettuces, swede leaves, cauli & sprout seedlings. Some holes are at the edge of leaves, some are pinholes.. Don't think they're slugs & snails, no eggs under leaves. Even got water mark type impressions on some leaves as if going to become holes. Seen cabbage white butterflies fly by but as I say, no eggs. Anyone please?

Flea beetle. Try to get them off with the grease paper trick - vaselin or anything similar will do, smudge on paper, cover soil around plants with it very gently and then shake plants, they jump when this happens , so try not to touch plants before ready with the traps - and fleece, -hopefully - before they laid any eggs, soon now.
