Thanks DD and Aunt Sally for the ideas on supporting the peas.
Here are a couple of photos.

Basically a 10' x 4' bed with rows sown across every few weeks.








Good beer, good BBQ and good friends.

The traditional way is to use pea sticks just pushed into the ground beside the rows.  Save them from pruning shrubs.

I've noticed on the overgrown bit at the back of the car parking space we have next to our plot there are twiggy bits poking out of the 4' tall nettles!

They're not as strong as the ones in Auntys piccy but I'm going to 'borrow' them anyway and use them for my peas!  :wink:

I'm also going to cut down some nettles for my compost heap!

I love natures freebies  :D
