going to get some manure on the plot in next few weeks anyone know if horse or cow manure is better & which if any crops wiuld be better off without it

i use cow muck because i can get it but i wouldnt say no to a load of horsey poo  :D

:) horses poo for me, fairly local stables and me mate drops it off in his truck  and they look after them well at the stables. You never know what they feed the cows with to bulk them up. :roll:  :roll:

cows muck has a much higher fartiliser content than horse as it is manily straw  if your able to walk a paddock and collect apples the  thats better .but if you can get it the longer you let it rot down the better  adding anyother manure/ comp[ost you can get
still alive /............

yep i am able to get hold of some manure someone advertising on the allotment gate a couple of plots have had some  looks good stuff to thanks anyway :lol:  :lol:
