After the letdown with the other double plot

We have been offered a double plot on the allotments behind my husbands office - after 2 years of waiting  - 10 miles nearer to home than the current plot
We're going to just clear the new one this year and use the old plot nex t year for growing stuff that doesn't need too much attention - pototoes, artichokes etc and some fruit trees. Then grow the other stuff in Eastbourne where it's nearer
