Just discovered the egg skelter, heard it on chris evans radio 2, he love chickens too, does anyone have one?  I'm wondering if the eggs crack as they skelter down.

They all look very.... stylish, but I like to keep mine in egg boxes in the fridge (pointed end down).  They store so much better !

So is it best or not to keep in fridge? Omlet and another site say that they should not be kept in fridege because it kills the germ? What germ?

I presume they mean in fertile eggs it would kill the germinal disc which developes into a chick.
