I can hear one of the Roman Goslings tapping on the shell  

Day 27 today..... Broody hen doing a fanastic job..... But I wanna get in the shell and get them out nowwwwwwww

I hate waiting      


Now that's out of my system I can try getting on with something else

Put all 3 eggs under Crumb last night as she'd gone broody at long last, am hopeful that she'll take to them better is she thinks they're really hers?

All was well till midday when she crushed the shell on one as she was turning round

That's the advantage of letting them sit the whole time by the time hatch day comes round the female has lost alot of weight so this type of thing doesn't normally happen!

Anyway slept with her last night to check she behaved an I will do the same tonight

Please fingers crossed for us  Think we're gonna need it
