Tiny white caterpillars on my raspberry canes!

I have picked off the effected leaves is there anything else I should do?

Sounds like raspberry beetle larva. So you did the right things. Or you could just squish them and the leaves will survive. Its the fruits they love most and I guess you've not got them yet.

You'll prob lose some fruit to them, its mainly them that the larva eat. If you are organic the best way is to hunt them down and squish em, the same as with most pests. If you are lucky the birds may help you. But then you will need to cover the bushes when the fruit come or they will help you with them too! If you are not so organic you can spray with a bug spray or powder with derris.

As Coss says they are most likely in the fruit, on foliage it can be a great number of butterfly/moth caterpillars - 5 legs - or that of sawfly - 6 legs ( this are tiny in one half of body).

If so inclined, can find some specified chemical, but surprisingly much more can be achieved by the organic method of visiting and crushing often.
