Hi All!

Have just spent a fun couple of hours weeding the strawberry patch.......tedious or what?

One variety in particular is throwing out loads of runners & a couple even have plantlets on them which have rooted. While there are lots of luscious fruit forming as well, my question is, a) should I strip all the runners off & let the goodness go into the fruit,

or b) leave some for next year's new plants,

 or c) just leave well alone?

Any advice welcome, thanks in advance.

And twice on a Sunday.  

Do cut them off the main plant though and lose all that's not needed for propagation. The first from mother is the best to keep.
