Mine will be going out soon, always reckon mid-May, but will keep one eye on the weather forecast.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Looking at the weather forecast for the next 2 weeks there are no reports of frost risk. I planted mine out last week.

Mine have been attcked by ants. But I have struck back.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Are ants a threat?  When I planted my beans the ground was full of red ants, but I still put beans in    Was that a big mistake?

it's worth trying to clear them out first as i have known them damage the roots of plants.
