Got the Borlotti beans in, the black climbing beans, some yellow dwarf beans, sowed fennel, lots of weeding.
2 picnics, Sat & Monday
Planted squash in top soil laid on top of horse manure in one of the compost boxes, see what happens.........

Don't you love this time of year
Cycled in to work, beautiful morning in North London :tongue2:
Bring on the weekend!!!!

It's great isn't it!  :D

I was at mine yesterday from 10 am until 7pm - even got a bit sunburnt!

I planted my sprouts, peas, runner beans, sweet peas, some sunflowers, broad beans, parsnips, radish, thyme, parsley and started work on a path between my beds using all of the housebricks and bits of stone that I keep digging up

Had to keep the chooks penned up in a separate bit of the garden though, otherwise all of my hard work would have been in vain as they scratched around and stuff

I'm off on my hols tomorrow and have too much packing and running around today to get down (well, maybe I'll sneak in a couple of hours before it gets dark tonight!).

I almost don't want to go on holiday 'cos I'll keep worrying about the plants and chickens.  How sad is that  :!:

I was at work
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

I've been sorting the garden instead of the plot, was almost hopping from foot to foot deciding which was more important!  The plot though, where it ws sodden last wek, is now of course rapidly turning to solid concrete!  been down this morning to dig over some solid ground, will rotavate it later before that sets into smaller lumps of concrete!

well back off holiday now and have had a full day at the lottie - OMG!!! someone broke in and planted loads of weeds in my plot whilst I was gone!!!

It's gonna take ages to get rid of them too     Oh well, another excuse to go down there (as if I needed one!)

Today I've planted the sweetcorn and some greyhound cabbage and planted up some containers of flowers (petunias, daliahs (sp?) and lobelia) for the garden at home.  still loads left too!

 :D  :D

Been a good week, got at least 25 hrs in on the plots, plus some in the home garden, cycled at least 40 miles in travelling there & back, (plots are 2.5 miles away).

Fit?  No - knackered!

Hoping to get down today, but don't like the look of the grey things in the sky.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
