OLD TOILET PAN...
« on: April 21, 2008, 11:58 »
Much to the wife's dismay I kept the old toilet pan when we got new bathroom hardware.

I thought about using it as a planter. Any suggestions?

Sweet peas?

Lavateria?
Growing salad leaves isn't rocket science.

Mrs. DD. says that you will need Marigolds when you have to clean it.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

There's always mushrooms as well, as they crop in flushes.

On the reasonable note a bog garden would dry out in it, as you well know.

But if you dig it in a bit, nice little pond of wildlife to be had in there with some bog plants if you wish.

Courgette is good for any restrained situation, though.
