am i ok to sow

could someone please help me?

am i safe to sow these,

beetroot in the ground?

runner beans in pots?

carrots outside?

spring onions?

lettuce outside?

leeks outside?

cabbage hisp f1?

radish outside?

i had a little helper (sister) who has taken all the inner seed packets out of the outers and long them :cry:

also what listed dont like manure?

I've got all of the above (apart from runner beans) out now, you could start your runner beans inside in pots.

Carrots don't like manure apparently.

Don't sow carrots where it's just been manured.

the carrots are going in a rased bed that im just trying to sort today, will have fresh top soil in there so should be fine

I am pretty new this like you.

I have a load of beetroot to put out, and I have heard that its root system does not like manure.

Oh well looks like I will have to open up some more ground!

I manure my beet beds and they love it. Its just carrots and parsnips that aren't fond of manure - makes them grow very furry with rootlets.

Tread the ground down well around the cabbages (best, dig it now, shuffle your feet over it, and leave it for a while) - if they go into loose soil they bolt rather than heart up.
