hi babe, how long have you had evie? I adopted 3 ex bats 3 weeks ago and was wondering how long it took for their feathers to grow back? They have changed a huge amount already but no noticable feather growth.

Oh she looks great, well done. The difference is quite amazing and so lovely to see her with some pretty friends to play with!  :roll: I had wondered for a while how she was doing, it's soooo good to have a happy ending!

eevies been with me 8 weeks now.  it was a good 4/5 weeks before she really started to grow any feathers. but she grew alot in confidence first.

she was a sorrowful, sad little lady.

her bottom is only now starting to show some signs of fluff.

your 3 are very lucky to have found you, and at 3 wks the whole world is still brand new. it takes alot of energy for them to grow new fluff, but they will be beautiful and very happy hens

Its great to see little Evie how she was and an update on how she is now.

It really makes it worth while and it gives me a warm glow just reading about her.  Rehoming ex batts is such a great experience

great wildy, she's put on lots of weight, i think that as she's bigger than some of the bantys, it gave her the boost she needed to find her feet, she even enjoys her cuddles now too.

Hi babe. Thanks for info. Its nice to know people you can ask. I totally adore my ex bats. Daisy, Poppy and Trixy are beautiful. Daisy looks alot like Eevie. I just love watching the enjoyment they get out of running around my garden. Its like having more children.
