What are you going to put on the floor of the run Nathan  :?: It will need to be a few inches deep for them to dig in so they don't damage their claws.  

Or perhaps they will free range all the time  :D

it will have sand and woodshavings on the floor 3 inches thick up to the top of the bricks, mainly why i put them round
2 allotments, long standing back problem, am i mad?

just got to mod the hole and ramp and then im gonna take it from there, i think i will put her in and see how she gets on with it and then add or change things from there :D

When you're out and they have to stay in the run.  

The run portion not including the house on top needs to be about 3 ft high and each hen needs about 1 sq yard of run space each - Bantams a bit less.

ive just been doing the maths and one of these omlet eglu things with there run are ok for 5 bantams so they say, this nes set up i have has lots more room than they would get in a eglu


still not sure how many more to get to put in with the one im moving from the other house.
