We were wondering, we have some very nice strawberry plants which really need to be potted on, is it best to plant straight into the ground or into pots with compost.

if you have an area of clean ground then get them in they shoud be flowering in a coupel of weeks
my earlys are flowering allredy

mine have been out for the last 6 weeks no problem
if you are a pit nerves then spend a few days hardening them off

The plants are fully hardy, frost kills the flowers, but they shall flower again. :D
