Dust bath

Should the dust bath for the hens be a certain size / depth. Or could I use something like a washing up bowl ( just been browsing the photos)

Anything will do.  I like to have it deep so that when they splash about the dirt stays in the bath tub  :lol:

:D Hiya.  I haven't provided mine with a dust bath yet, I was intending to but they seem to have taken to one of my pots which used to have alpines in LOL  So I'm going to just let them have that, they love the small grit in there and didn't take long to use it.  2 of the 3 have had a bath in it now so will just leave them to it LOL

:D funny.....tonight my other chook was laying on the run floor trying to dust bath so took the planter out and put it in there and she's gone straight in it LOL  Defo going to be theirs!!
