This is Braveheart, the chook who was attack by an Irish Wolfhound and who hitch-hiked in a truck and ended up living in a wildlife park with black Ibis', storks, cranes and peacocks for 5 days!!!!

SEBRIGHT IN THE SNOW
Our sebright cockerel braved the 3 inches of snowfall earlier in April. Managed to get this shot of him in the sunshine. No eggs that day from the hens - they did enjoy their porridge though!

I want chickens!!!!!!! These pics are making me v. jealous! Unfortunately my miniature dachshund is the Queen of my garden and she would try to eat them! Oh well, when I finally get that lottery win I'm (over)due I can have my own little farm!!

My new babies only had them a few weeks settling in nicely

          They are three black rocks and one speckly hen
