basil!!!
my fave herb, I use it at least three times a week and my NEMESIS (even worse than chillies-another thread though)
It HATES me, I tried both seeds (never germinated despite TLC through to you WILL grow if I ignore you) and plants too
just repotted 2 plants bought from tesco : 50p each at Christmas, doing great guns till I stuck em in (even a lovely designated pretty pot!) now they wont play again!

penywart (something like that LOL)
Common mint.
Tansy
rue
Horseradish
lavender
rosmary lots of different types
sage couple of different types
borage
lemonbalm
vietnese corriander
normal corriander
lemon grass,
basil,
fenugreek
alpine strawberries
chives
and a few others lol.
a couple  have been bought in for winter and will go out again soon.
