Hi all,

I was offered a white bantam silkie cockerel today because he is being beaten up by another more dominant male. I agreed to take him but when I introduced him to my 3 female goldlines he went for them, thinking they were the cockerel

I had to tell them that he couldn't stay, but he can't stay where he is either, hence this 'free to good home'

That's great JR!!

He's not on my lottie now, I had to hand him back before any more blood was drawn (his, not my girls) so he's back with his original owners but kept in a small rabbit hutch because he can't mix with the others.

I thought you weren't allowed livestock on your lotties though?

yes!  I'm going to PM you with the details of who's bird it is - apparantly he's been in with some other chooks that they've got and is getting along fine but they still don't want the complication of two roosters so he's all yours if you still want him!  :D

Aaaah..... I love it when a plan comes together!

I love silkies.. I think if I had hens, that's what I'd have!

Look forward to the piccies  :D
