Hi compostqueen
So you just mulch. Do you plant seeds or only young plants. What about the dreaded weeds , do you hoe. And manure just left on top for the worms to pull into the soil :? .
always have a target
and an objective.

That's quite a good score really Frankie :D

I've never seen anyone use a machine on our lottie site.   There's about 50-60 plots there.

I am not sure how it would work realy Shaun. I would think you will just end up with a lawn. I struggle to keep the grass from spreading from the paths.

When I was on the allotment round the corner I would guess that half the people had a machine, and the other half subbed out the rotavating :) . I am very surrprised at the no machine ever tally. I just would not have the time to dig by hand.

I think all plots should be big enough for a tractor :)

You've got a big plot there Shaun.  The tend to divide them down to 5 rods nowadays.  Not really enough to get a machine going on and easy enough to hand dig  :!:

I feel cheated, my plots tiny compared to that, hang on always been told size doesnt matter!
theres no way i would have time for all that anyway.
