Got some eggs delivered today, they are Black Cotswolds.....does anyone else have these? Been trying to find some pictures on-line with no luck :(

I'm not sure that they are the ones that Aggy is referring to or not.

I tell you what though, whilst trying to find them, I came across a site thats charging in excess of £20 for POL hybrid blue egg layers. I must be in the wrong business. :shock:  :shock:  :shock:

Because they are hybrids, they almost certainly wont breed on, so you you're are not even purchasing foundation stock.

prices have gone silly. we paid £6 for blue laying cream legbars a few months back.  people are now quoting £25 each.

just wondering whats going to happen, if a lot of these new keepers decide its not for them when its not trendy anymore.

Got it!!!! But I don't think there are them. The eggs I've got are blue!!........so Babe, you may be right!! :)    Be nice to actually see what they turn into ;)

Did you buy them from ebay agapanthus?  I was looking at them but couldn't find any info on them anywhere either so at the moment haven't bought any .................... yet  :lol:  :lol:
40 hens, 8 cockerels, 3 dogs, 2 rabbits, 8 chinchillas, 2 teenage daughters and O/H
