Its the Corti 24 manual turn. It has a rod that you push in and the trays move one way so all the eggs move within their dividers, and then later you pull out and again the eggs all move. It has a fan which circulates the warm air and two water pots to increase humidity. It has held a steady temperature through the incubation period, and so far I am impressed as I have never done anything like this before.

I'm keeping them, increasing the flock numbers and introducing cochins and Brahmas as well.
the others are starting to emerge today and this is one day ols and in the brooder

It is tricky I admit, but its something that I've become use to dealing with.

Nobody likes to think of eventually having to pull the necks of these fluffy chicks but practicality says that it will eventually have to be done. Of course, nobody is forced to be practical and this is when people can end up with quite a poultry collection. :lol:
