cheap fruit bushes at Poundstretcher

Spotted soome very cheap fruit bushes Black, red and white currrants plus blackberries at a shop on Clifton Moor York which has recently become a Poundstretcher branch. Couldnt see inside all the package sbut could see that the blackberry looked healthy and was sprouting. No indication of varieties though.

I bought the raspberries last year and they fruited in autumn,lovely big juicy  berries! I also bought some blackcurrants from them. Like you say, they have no labels so dunno what variety and of them are. Bargain @£1.99, considering the amount of fruit I got last year  

Did you prune the black currants after planting ?

No, they were only about 6" high, so I left them as they were. They've now got lots of new growth. Should I have pruned them?

I don't know but some people say you should !
