Put in swift a couple of weeks ago but standing by with plastic etc in the event that the frost hits when they are above ground. Ground temperature Monday was approx 6 deg C here

popped a couple of maris pipers in a couple of pots and covered over with plasic bags.I will check them next week.Fingers crossed.

Planted mine yesterday a row each of swift, rocket and red duke of york.  I still have kestrel, maris peer and charlotte to go in but will leave those a couple of weeks. Yipee!

put three rows in on easter sunday,mayan gold,riviera and stroma.thinking ive maybe been a bit to hasty with the weather still on the cold side.
